Rebirth and the Three of Swords

I am using the Druidcraft tarot deck to get some insights into the positive and negative energies of the day.

The first card is called Rebirth and this is actually the Judgment card in the Rider Waite deck and a major arcana card pointing to something more meaningful in your life. Rebirth is all about making a new beginning and taking a fresh approach to life. There has been some sort of self realization which has led to shedding of old beliefs and moving away from an unenlightened past. Now is the time to take action in a new direction that feels more authentic, honest and purposeful. It's about listening to your heart's true call and paying heed to what it is trying to convey. It's time to come out of the old, rigid structure of ignorance and trivial pursuits that had confined you for a long time and move forward into the bright sunshine of knowledge. This is a card of freedom so there is a strong sense of your own individuality today. You are no longer content to follow others but want to forge your own path. You could be making plans with regards to the new life you intend to lead. Remember to trust your intuition today and take solid, actionable steps towards your goal.

The other card is the Three of Swords and this represents the challenging aspects of the day that you would need to overcome. This card potrays some sort of sorrow or heart break or a communication deadlock. However, because this is elementally Air energy, this is more in the realm of thoughts and mental processes rather than actual physical pain. So you could be feeling a bit more sensitive today or be touchy with regards to little things, criticism or thoughtless words said in jest. Try not to take things too personally or get into unnecessary arguments. Also, be clear in communicating your needs and be realistic when it comes to your expectations of others. This card can show up when we are too self absorbed and end up making much of little issues. Try and focus on the bigger picture and not let your thoughts constrict your judgment. Also, where the matter concerns two people, try to avoid getting or being a third party. Remember the heartache shown in the three of swords is of a transient nature and very often dependent on our reaction to external events. Act with awareness and understand that the little ups and downs of life are woven into a larger fabric of your life and provide learning and wisdom for the future.

Overall, the Fire energy of Judgement and the Air energy of swords point to an active, busy day with little opportunity to express your emotions. Try and spend some time, especially end of the day, doing  something to help you mentally unwind and relax.
Have a great day!
