Card images from the Anna K tarot deck: King of Pentacles, Nine of Pentacles, The Star |
Card 1- King of Pentacles: This card represents the key theme, influence or atmosphere this week.
The King of Pentacles brings a very strong and earthy energy to all matters in the physical and material realm. It may also represent a person who brings material and financial stability in your life, has a strong value system and focuses on practical matters. It could be someone who urges you to have realistic expectations and well defined goals in life. It could be a parent or a spouse or a long time friend, definitely someone you have a long term connection with and who feels obligated to motivate and direct you towards a certain life path.
Someone with these personality traits may play an important role in your life this week. It could point also to the sense of material and financial abundance you may feel at this time. There is an atmosphere of comfort, strength and stability in the areas of health, finances and home affairs.
Card 2 - Nine of Pentacles: This card represents your reaction to the energy shown in card 1. This is a card of basking under the sunlight. You are aware of the material blessings in your life and would be in a mood to luxuriate and take time out for yourself. There is contentment and a desire for the good things in life. Some of you may take advantage of this feeling to go on a shopping spree or indulge in personal care.
You may also want to march to your own beat this week and resist unsolicited injunctions and advice from people, especially from those close to you. While in personal relations you may want more space and freedom to do as you please, you will also be willing to give this freedom to your partner this week. Those who are living alone will feel good about the lack of responsibilities. Whatever your situation you will be very conscious of your individual likes and dislikes and value your privacy.
Card 3 - The Star: This card represents the way things will move as the week progresses. A very positive and happy card in this position which stands for hope, inspiration, self confidence and serenity of mind. While the first two cards point at the material abundance in your life and how gracefully you receive it, this card shows how material abundance leads you towards spiritual contentment and fosters generosity of spirit.
The Star is about knowing your vulnerabilities without feeling vulnerable and receiving riches without being possessive. It's about opening up to the positive vibrations in the universe and hoping for the best. As the week progresses you would learn to find inspiration within your heart rather than in external sources of joy.
Have a wonderful week!
