Card images from the Rider Waite Smith tarot deck: The Hanged Man, Three of Wands, Judgement |
Card 1 - The Hanged Man: This card represents the key theme or influence in your life this week. It signifies a time of stillness and lack of movement which could also mean stagnation for some. Things may seem to be moving at a very slow pace and without any real focus or direction. Infact the direction of energies may seem to be reversing at this time. If you have been very energetically involved in your pursuits so far you will find yourself being drawn to a less frenetic pace of life.
Some of you may experience a shift in perspective, especially with regards to your work situation. It is a time to look deep within yourself and decide where your priorities and happiness lie. It is also a time to let go and give up some measure of personal control for the sake of a higher cause such as a healthier lifestyle or harmonious personal relationships.
Card 2 - Three of Wands: This card represents your reaction to the energy of card 1. You seem to be agreeing here with the key message of the Hanged Man and standing still for the time being. You may want to assess your past accomplishments and build on those in future. Or you may want to look back at the past and the lessons learnt at an earlier time.
Overall your mood will remain upbeat and you will be confident about your abilities to create a better future for yourself. This is a very good card for future growth and expansion so do not be afraid to grab opportunities and aim big.
Card 3 - Judgement: This card shows how things will progress. While the earlier cards showed a slower pace and a reflective mood, this one is about finally waking up to a powerful realization. It signifies a strong message being communicated to you, either by an external source or arising deep within you. As the week progresses you will come to know which direction to take and what path to follow. Things will become clearer and you will have an instinctive sense of what is right or wrong for you in your particular situation.
This card also represents some past issues or secrets coming to the fore. The revelation may happen either by another person or as a result of your own matured understanding of events in the past.
The Hanged Man and Judgement both being major arcana cards in tarot point to issues of significance this week. Things that have been in limbo or did not make much sense until now will begin to form a bigger picture by the end of the week. As you move from the 'not knowing' state of the Hanged Man towards the more 'knowing' state of Judgement, you will find your confidence and focus increase. Remain aware of the power of your actions as you progress from one milestone to the next.
Have a wonderful week!
